Industrial clients often find it less expensive to relocate existing plants or facilities instead of constructing new plants. On several occasions, Bath has been retained to manage the logistics of such relocations.
One project involved the relocation of a multi-million dollar manufacturing machine from France to the United States. Another called for relocation of a petroleum plant from the Midwest to the Southwest.
In each case, Bath’s engineers documented existing conditions before disassembly began, developed a logistics program for packaging components prior to shipment, prepared detailed drawings for reassembly in the new location, and coordinated commissioning to verify success of the project.
